There's a problem that the text is white, it's too close to the color of sky, that you can hardly read the text clearly.

I don't think it will fit with all pictures, because some part of pictures is black or some color dark.

My suggestion is move the text out of the picture, maybe under the picture.

I can make it image dependent. So light colored images will get a black text and dark images get a white text.

New version is up.

- Added a "shadow" to the text. It's much better readable now.
- Streamlined code. No XML required anymore. Easy to make compatible with custom civs. (Only the image itself has to be added)

(I already added images for Sweden, Australia, Modern Greece and Canada. So it is already fully compatible for those modcomps. New civs only need to add an image to make it compatible.)

Inspired by an idea of BenZL, I created a module that puts an image in the background of the Dawn of Man text box. Each civ has an unique image.

Unzip the file in the Dawn of Man folder (say yes when it asks to replace files) and play the mod as usual.

- Available for all versions. (regular download and SVN)
- Compatible with all other modcomps.

If you think you have a better image for a civ, please let me know.

I was thinking of a picture of the British Empire or colonialism.. Of course a picture of the industrial revolution can be added or even the defeat of the Spanish Armada by the British navy.. There are many pics one can add for the English!

I dont like when the pictures consist of two different civs. But the imperial part of Englands history would suit best for a motive.

Think Leoreth incorporates this as soon as it is good enough?
