Unit requests thread

Does anyone want to design an Emperor for my Fairy Tale mod? He should be fantasy/medieval inspired, but otherwise artist's hands are free.

The Emperor will be the strongest combat unit in the Fairy Tale mod, his function being a land combat super unit, and he should look impressive; he should look like the King of Kings that he is going to be. He should wield a weapon of some sort, or possibly have some form of magical powers representing a weapon. He is set like a World Wonder, which means that only one nation per game can deploy the Emperor unit, and as such he is very much unique. The Emperor crowns Fairy Tale, as the player receives him only after advancing to one of the very last techs on the tech tree.

If some artist here is up for it, gimme a holler. I'll be using some other unit in the meantime.

Maybe you can use instead the yellow submarine .
Or look at Fictionalization IV, it has a submarine model, which is fused with a kraken unit (IIRC).

Yeah, I designed my Nautilus based on Kevin O'Neill's redegin for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Though it would be pretty cool to have a model based on the Disney version in the database. I'll second the request.

as far as i know the challenger 2 is in production by snafusmith and/or krugerprinz. so we'll have to wait a bit.

I dunno if it's much use requesting units, but here I go again.

I want a Crusader unit of Fantasy type. I need three versions of three different colour and/or design schemes. Black, gray and white Crusaders. Powerful mounted knights. I will also have use of infantry Crusaders if available. They should look powerful and mean, of course. The White Crusaders are the good guys, the Black the bad ones. The Gray are in between and could be female even, as I make use of lots of female units.

In my Fairy Tale mod, they will be some of the most powerful units and will be crowning the tech tree. Come on then, artists.

Hi...i found a nice T-62 model in the iran-iraq-war mod but it seems that this model doesnt have an animation. is anyone able to animate this model?

Perhaps the BtS Tank or the BtS Modern Armor animation fit with this unit.. In Civ4ArtDefines_Unit.xml file of that mod I think you can find this info.

thx for the hint, but i tried that already with all animations from my mod (tank, modern_armor, and the other ones). doesnt work. the Civ4ArtDefines_Unit.xml in that mod uses the tank.kfm. i asked in that forum too but the author doesnt know from where he get the unit.

I've looked around but haven't found one. Did someone make a Mounted Scout unit graphic (Cavalry era)? I want to have an upgrade for the Explorer in case I want to make a Super Medic late in the game - I'll need an armored car after that but I think I saw some of those.

@Yxklyx: Did you take a look in the TR-Mod, i guess nearly every existing unit, you can dream about, is in there.
