Unit requests thread

I had requested this before, but I wanted to put it back out there with some more images. I would really really really appreciate it if the following units could be created for me...

This first one should be made into a Machine-gunner and an Infantry, and is the one I need the most:

So those two I really need made. These I'd just like to be made, I wrote the requested animation for each one underneath, although I'm not sure how accurate any of these are to the units I want them to be:

Grenadier/Cannonier, Rifleman/Cavalry, Musketman/Cuirassier, Infantry/MG, I don't want the guy on the right

If more pictures are required let me know, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE DO THIS!?!?
 
Does anyone know of or want to create strange Medieval/Renaissance machinery of war? I mean stuff like Leonardo da Vinci's helicopters and tanks and such. Maybe even a submarine of "Medieval design" could be of interest, innovations using gunpowder, early airships. Absurd Medieval war machines simply. Things like that.
 
Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was anybody out there who could help me get these units to work. Whenever I build the Axeman in game I get some python errors and I can't continue playing for some reason, I have seen this before and was able to fix it but I am not sure how I did that. This unit uses DogSoldier.kfm animations.

Anyway if someone could test the Axeman out and tell me if they got the same issue that would be awesome. It would be BETTER if someone could also fix it for me. :mischief:

I also attempted to make a Swordsman unit, but it came out way distorted and I am not exactly sure why. Here is a screen-shot in game as well as in NifSkope so you can see what I am talking about:

I combined aspects of a couple of Bakuel units for this one. As you can see it looks fine in NifSkope but is way distorted in-game. I put the model on Bakuel's Malinese Swordsman, so that is the "skeleton" that is being used. The animations for the swordsman are the vanilla Swordsman.kfm animations. Both units are in the attachment, if anybody can help that'd be awesome. :goodjob:

There is a problem with your NiSkinInstance nodes in both nifs. Your Axeman node is empty and your Swordsman has Bip01 bones while the Swordman.kfm moves BIP bones. The Swordsman could be fixed by renaming the bones to the BIP ones. The Axeman is a bigger problem, because he seem to have lost the whole Weight information. :(
 
Could you (or anyone else) fix them for me? I am not a unit-maker (although I do have some units I have "made") and that sounds too complicated for me to figure out. Perhaps I should stick to making leaderheads. :rolleyes:
 
Can I interest an animation guru to graft the longbowman -and crossbowman bones/animations to the redcoat unit?

The purpose is to have a 17th century-looking longbowman -and crossbowman. :)

Hm, couldn't open the .nif files with Blender for some reason. I managed to make the swordsman unit work, but he looks not quite right because he uses the horseman skeleton, which differs in some parts from the swordsman one. I've attached the .nif file to the post. I have no chance to repair the axeman, because that requires Blender.

There's a tank-for-every-civ pack out there with the C1 as a British Modern Armour, and the C2's been requested enough that it must be kicking around
 
I founded many good and lost units in this forum good. New, i founded paratroopers, mobile artillery and SAM, culverin, ski patrol (best alpins i founded) and fusion bomb (a nuke with only 1 tale effect but 9 times stronger? Cool :nuke:).

But i missed something, i dont know if there isnt or i simply missed it: cruise missiles (lost from Civ III and a good boom for slow cost), howitziger (from Civ II), Aegis Cruiser (from Civ III), nuclear submarine and tactical nuke (or another type of nuke, something to carry on that ship). Please tell mods with these ones exist or no, thanks (of course with animations, sound and strenght included, only models from me arent useful to play).

You need Beyond the Sword. Most of those units come back :)

I've been posting my request for units always here, just like many others. Very many others. There are now so many different requests of all sorts of units I, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, lose track of them.
I think this thread is important and very useful:), but it had become a bit difficult to overview and use:undecide:.

The idea came to me when I was sorting my files(physical and digital:D).
"Why don't we split this thread into several more categorized threads?"

The unit's download gallery is also divided into different under groups. So why don't we take over this existing distribution for the segmenting of the unit requested thread? We could also divide into "request" and "offer" thread (or is that to complicated? Anyway..).

Please, tell me what you think about it:deal:, each of you.
So WE can decide if and howWE want to "categorize" is thread into many.

@Thunderfall, I'd especially value your opinion on this matter.
