Unit requests thread

Thanks, Snafus Smith. I knew there were two out there, but I wasn't sure whether the Blood and Iron one was converted although there probably would be more than one merchant ship...

No problem! Sorry for long wait, I get sidetracked. I tried to give you lots of options for customizing it.

Is it anywhere close to what you were wanting? I wasnt sure about having the goggles flip up like they do, but its a neat idea nonetheless.
 
Ah! Can I swap the weapon via the normal method, say for an M16?

Marine fidget animation requires a weapon in the right hand and its ammunition pocket in the left one. You may replace the current marine weapon using a close model in order to run fidget animation properly.
Run the fidget animation with nifscope and you'll understand what I mean.

A workaround could be replacing fidget animation with the idle one.
A better solution could be modifing fidget animation to work properly with a very different weapon type, but it requires hard work for my limited skill on animations.
 
Or you could ignore it. What he means is, the M16 will have a magazine in it when the Marine is shown to remove it. It is all but unnoticeable at civ scale, especially because most people don't wait around watching their animations.
 
Could one of you experts work up an Italian "Carabineiri" unit? It is for a part of a new Scenario by nutnut, Europe: Rome to Revolution. I am creating the "Savoy" civ for it...
