Thank you Vuldacon for sending me a new setup file for 240x240 pixels.

Awesome Unit!! I love the cock action after every shot. I even love how the unit tilts his head back while he cock the rifle. Just adds lots of realism to it.

Awesome unit! Is the run anim faster in game? It seems a bit slow

Thanks.

Yes the run is quite a bit faster in game. Unfortunately previews run all animations at the same speed when using a single preview. The separate FLCs themselves are several different speeds in game.

 Your focusing on a "weapons system" for each of your packs is quite interesting.

Oh, and a very nice unit, too :)

 ,

Oz

I figure I can get 2-4 units out of each weapon in my arsenal. And considering I probably have close to 50 different weapons all told I have a long way to go.

" " indeed. Then again, figure maybe 5-6 units/weapon, so that's "only" 250-300 units :mischief:

Have Fun :D ,

The weapon may not always be a SMLE, but should be close enough

Perhaps you could also use it for earlier units. this is a reference for Egyptian fellah, 1883. Doesn't it remind you something ;)?

It's very nice to see Indian units getting made for the industrial & modern eras. Thank you.

You know, I've always had a weak spot for a fez ...

You're welcome Blue Monkey. I'm trying to follow a bit in Topgun's footsteps and do some units for some of the less represented cultures.

@ Steph: I will try to do one or two of your pics if I get around to it. Unfortunately I don't have a hat like that worn in your first pic but the rest of the pics may be doable.

Looking good! Do you have plans for another WW2 tommy?

Theoretically I intend to do every conceivable unit I have the props for. In reality and practicality I don't know what I will be able to get around to in my finite existence upon the earth or when I will get around to them. :dunno:

I intend upon revisiting a few weapons I've already done because I've refined my technique since doing those weapons sets. For instance the Garand and Mauser 98 will be redone at some point along with all my Japanese weapons.

I've been working almost all evening on another SMLE Mk3 unit but have had several setbacks due to problems with shadows appearing incorrectly in the animation. Sometimes I can crank a unit out pretty fast and other times it takes a few tries to get it reasonably right. I find that I work most effectively just doing whatever comes upon my whim. If I try to set a game plan I always end up deviating from it. That's why I haven't done any more unit polls in a while.
