Played ?12 turns up to 250ad. Its not
all bad, we're still alive and so is Isabella.....
525. Honey sez "please don't trade with that nasty Isabella" (he was less polite and implied that she supported herself by immoral earnings), we like 'interacting' with her and decline his request. However he's still willing to pay 65g for priesthood. The Evidence whips out a settler.
500. The settlers flee the Evidence in a generally northern direction. Maybe they're scared of the barbarian city of Khazak which has just been settled south of Trojan Horse.
475. Uzbek pops its borders. We get trade routes with Spain but Isabella clearly has issues with intimacy and becomes more 'cautious' than 'pleased' by the closeness of our borders.
450. We're in the money! Trade currency to Isabella for monarchy and 10g. Uzbek whips its granny (oops I meant 'granary'). Build wealth instead of research. CoL in 4. Isabella has a Great Prophet.
425. Rustenberg is founded. Isebella builds Temple of Solomon (Great Prophet>Great Profit). Isabella rejects our offers claiming "we fear your advances" or something like that.
400. All the cool kids are running HR so we join in. Honey is not a cool kid and is running despotism despite knowing about monarchy. Weird.
375. Anarchy subsides. I'm guessing Isabella's given Honey the cold shoulder, he wants us to declare war on her, we decline (again), he's obviously not her type (a common despot). He's annoyed with us for some reason.
350. Uneventful.
325. CoL is in, start on maths. Need it for music, CS and unblocking philo bulb and no-one's trading with us.
300. Amphibia gives birth to a great scientist: Kermit the Frog (honest!) who heads to the Evidence to make a name for himself. Amphibia starts a worker.
275. Now its Rag's turn to ask us to kill Isabella. He's not her type either, too horny. Again we decline. Kermit arrives in the Evidence and unable to make a meaningful scientific breakthrough (maths? no thanks) founds an Academy instead. Double whip worker in Amphibia.
250. Whip a library in Uzbek and a monument in Rustenberg just because I can.
That's it really. We've connected silver and another fur so our cities are a bit happier and have grown slightly, horses are almost done. I'm sure I haven't done too well with worker micro. Maths next turn. GS due in 7.
We've got 4/5 swords near Khazak. I'll let someone else work out how to get a lvl4 unit. Isabella has been holding her own against the northern Hindus and hasn't even lost a city.
Rags must be somewhere way up north:
Aaaarghhh. Khazaks!!!
