Hello, new player here. Is there any documentation that walks through the interface description and most importantly lists all the icon meanings. I saw a thread that listed all the invisibility icons and it would be very useful if there was a master list of icons and descriptions to help understand the other interface elements.
For instance, right off, the alpha female has a -2 (icon) / turn but I am at loss to figure out where to find what that icon means
Thanks!

There is no documentation on those icons that I know of.

The alpha female reduce disease by 2 each turn.
disease is a property that diffuses from one plot to another and can impact cities quite a lot.

Indeed there is! Check this guide when you have (a lot) of time. :)

@Toffer90 There is documentation on the guide above. CTRL+F and search for Properties.

Though to keep it simple about the propriety icons:

Handcuffs - crime
Biohazard - disease
Book - education
Fire silhouette on a yellow triangle sign - flammability
Water drop - water pollution
Cloud with eyes - air pollution
Gold helmet - tourism

ah thank you - that should get me started! I have been making my way through that player guide but had not made it that far!

Take note also of this section in the player's guide:
Invisibility Types

If you are playing with Hide and Seek, these are ultra-critical to understand. But even if you are not, it is important to know that it requires being able to see both types of invisibility on a plot to see a unit that has two invisibility types there. On Hide and Seek, it requires that the plot is also observed by units with strong enough visibility ratings to meet or beat the invisibility ratings of the unit hiding there.

But what's also important to note is that each invisibility type is now denoted by a particular icon.

For more information on what types exist and their representative icons, check out THIS POST!

what the font symbols for invisibility
See my last snippet from that thread in the post right above yours and the link it provides in the quote. There's another one somewhere in there for the properties as well I think - maybe not laid out as well as this one.
