[MOD] v41 SVN and GithubDesktop Bugs and Crashes Single player

.... give me your folder path to the C2C assets folder.

Something like:
"\Civilization IV Complete\Civ4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos\Assets"

"\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword \Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos"

I suppose the folder called "Assets" is in there then.... I have no clue what your problem may be.
Do you have multiple BtS installations on your computer?

Yes, two to be precise. I deleted one, but the problem persists.

Hmm, last thing I can think of to try then is to reinstall the one you kept from scratch.
Having multiple BtS installed has caused issues for people in the past when trying out C2C.

Delete the ini civ4 ini file in my documents as well when you reinstall, just to be sure.
Edit: actually delete all folders except for "Saves" and "Replays" in the spot where the ini is as well.

Thanks. It finally worked out lol

Not really sure if this qualifies as a bug or if you can even fix it. I updated to the latest SVN and did a recalc but every city was starving big time (no city was starving before) and research was off. So I did recalc again and this time only a few cities were starving and research was almost back to where it was. I tried recalc again and everything was the back the way it was before.

There were some severe changes, so I guess some caches became messed up.

Okay thank you

Seems to be a problem with the 'Toggle Show All Resource Display' button for saved games in the latest SVN.

Just updated to the latest SVN (11319) but when I loaded a previously saved game from yesterday (created using Snofru's #7 standard scenario), C2C crashes to the desktop at the end of the load cycle. I can successfully start a new game using the same custom scenario.
When I update my SVN, I always empty the cache, CustomAssets and Logs folders. In the "Caveman2Cosmos" mod folder, I only retain the "Autolog" and "UserSettings" folders.
Attached is a copy of my saved game. Note, I am using the Canadian civilization from the Civ MegaPack Mod (which worked for a new game using this SVN and scenario).
UPDATE: I renamed my "UserSettings" folder and the saved game loaded but at the end of the recalc process, I clicked the "Show all resources" button and C2C crashed. Tried again but this time after the recalc finished, I clicked the 'Next Turn' button, waited for things to process and when it was my turn again, I clicked the "Show all Resources" button only to get the crash-to-desktop.
Started a brand new game based on the Snofru7-standard custom scenario. After researching 'gathering' I tried the 'Toggle Show All Resource Display' button and it worked properly without a crash. I could then continue with the game.

lol seems like this toggle needs revealed resources to display at first place.
Seems like its edge case crash.

Same here:
After the first recalculation cities started deflating, then I recalculated again and city growth was back to normal. But then I pressed the 'Toggle Show All Resource Display' and had a CTD

Doesn't crash on new game though.

Weirdly got assert about it on that save.

Doesn't it mean that this update breaks saves? In some way at least, in theory you probably can go on playing without that resource toggle.

It will be fixed soon.
A bit of code was too greedy.

It will be in SVN in half of hour or so.

118 commits this morning! Have not started games yet. Hope that it's not broken.....

Just noticed that all neanderthal units stop being available at Sedentary Lifestyle but I can still get Neanderthal Elephant Riders... bug?

Also, when I got Neanderthal culture Atlatlists stop being available (reappearing at Sedentary Lifestyle) ?

More or less latest SVN

Both things are intended.

After the last couple of updates my cities production output is much lower than it was before (did 5 or 6 recalculations and it became higher, but still not back to what was before the updates). Also, when I build new buildings that add to production, the number of hammers that goes after building name and the number of hammers that goes after "Actual" is the same. Before the update the "actual" number was much higher. Haven't tested if it is the same if I start a new game though.
