You could make his hair civ coloured (or are they already?)
His hair is already civ coloured
So which civ are you, anyway?
Personally, I like them (but what will he look like in those pastel civ colors?).
I'm obviously a blue civ, like the Maya
With the pastel colours, he'll probably look pretty camp
I wouldnt think hair and pants that match would suit this guy...I mean what if he ends up being Greek?...he'd look silly in green pants...or most other colors(red, white, yellow, orange)
please make his pants stay blue
I'll try, although that would mean experimenting with different colours when it comes to the palette...*shudders*
Virote, here is a good explosion effect for Poser. If you plan to have him have a molotov cocktail, then you need a good explosion effect. (Just so you have an idea, that's the explosion NavyDawg uses for his units.
Thanks, Odin. This will come in useful
For a request by Stormrage to do a generic unit that fits in with the generic Archer, Warrior, etc, I give you this:
Are the colours about right? Is there enough civ-specific blue? Should I add/take anything away? Is the shield big enough?
The shield is fine, it's a nice "buckler". I actually like the style. You could put them altogether as a mountain civ or something. Looks great.
BTW, I think you have my problem, too; you model and preview all these units and then you move on to another before you finish animating the first, .
Yeh, although this one should be pretty easy to animate (just follow the bible utah's tutorial, and add an extra attack, victory and fidget.)
Well, you got about half of it right for the first round!
But he needs leather and/or fur boots, and the kilt looks waay to egyptian. Think Conan..
How is everything else, like the shield size, and the amount of civ colour?
The shield is awesome! Crude and simple.
I`m actually not a fan of large civ-color areas. I`d like the kilt to be brown, and the civ-color to be placed like this: on the bracer, as it is. A small full cirle on the shield. at the end of the boots (you know, usally where the fur part comes) and a bit on the spear (beneath the blade).
OK. I'll add it in when I get back to work on it
A long time overdue
How is this?
That looks very good.
Awesome. Just what she wrote...
Yay, you're back. The new model looks good, and we can always use another spearman. The shield especially looks much better than the old one.
