Pocatello (Shoshone language) - (26-3)=23 His VA has got a good voice, but the use of "Chief Pocatello" (when his actual name and title in Shoshone was something else) and several words meaning "White man" bothers me. What if he's talking to Askia, does he think the Songhai emperor is a "white man"?
What if Pocatello were to speak with Hiawatha, Montezuma, Pacal, or Pachacuti?

Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - 17+1=18 - Let's get him to the 20 club.
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 29
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - 23-3=20 - It seems that he will be next. Tondzaosha, not "Chief Pocatello". Usage of "white" is logical, because he led some attacks against settlers. But I have to agree, it's weird when you play as "The Black Napoleon" Shaka.

Oda Nobunaga (Japanese) - (18+1)=19 I think Oda is in the safe zone for now.
Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 29
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - (20-3)=17 I think his dialogue couldn't been written better. I don't think the VA was an actual Shoshone language speaker. It makes sense since many of the fluent Shoshone speakers are likely elderly, but still.

Boudicca (Welsh) - (22+1)=23 A prominent Civfanatic poster complained about the choice of Welsh for Boudicca, but it is understandable since whatever language the queen spoke in real life was a Brittonic Celtic language, like Welsh. Her speaking Irish or Scottish Gaelic would be way worst. Plus the VA does a great job of portraying the fierce defiant Iceni Queen.

Pocatello (Shoshone language) - (14-3)=11 Whomever Firaxis hired to write the Shoshone dialogue did a poor job. It's not the VA's fault, but he loses points for this.

Pedro II (Brazilian Portuguese) - 29
Pocatello (Shoshone language) - (8-3)=5 Funny, how I've been to the town of Pocatello in Idaho. Still, it's definitely not his native name, and Firaxis should have known that.

Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 29 + 1 = 30 Best voice. Definitely says his lines with a large amount of gusto. He sounds like if I was actually talking to Ashurbanipal.
Askia (Zarma) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 26 - 3 = 23 He sounds like a nice, old grandpa, not a great military emperor.

Gajah Mada (Old Javanese) - 29+1=30 - I'm impressed that someone who could speak Old Javanese was found. Gajah has a great deep voice and a perfect hate state voice. This voice fits the Elephant General, unifier of Nusantara.

It's so hard to pick someone to downvote now...

Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 30+1=31 - His voice is very strong and so worthy of great king that Ashurbanipal was. Also, I love his hate state rage. "HATTA SADATA!"
Askia (Zarma) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 23-3=20 - Let's not forget that Augustus was also a conqueror who greatly expanded Roman Empire. He has a good voice of godlike uninterested emperor of the world's strongest and greatest empire, but he sounds a little bit too soft for a conqueror to me.

Theodora (Greek) - 26-3=23 I think the sentences are badly translated for Dora's dialogue. Surely, they could have gotten the Medieval/Byzantine Greek to make more sense.

Ashurbanipal (Akkadian) - 31
Askia (Zarma) - 23
Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 20-3=17 - If it's Augustus after the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest, shouldn't he scream "Quintili Vare, legiones redde!“ and beat his head against the walls of his palace? :p And I still guess his voice should be a little bit more harsh for a conqueror. Then it would be perfect.

Augustus Caesar (Latin) - (17-3)=14 Emile Khordoc was a decent pick for Augustus' voice, he just needed to sound more intimidating as the first Roman emperor. Voice direction is probably to blame here.

Augustus Caesar (Latin) - 14-3=11 - Khordoc tried to sound "bombastic", but he was told to sound like an uniterested emperor. He did a great job, but a little bit harsher voice would make Augustus' voice totally flawless. We're picking the best of the best and we're focusing on the smallest details now.
