That's awful. Can you say what happened?
The last time we talked was by email, when he sent condolences about my mother's death (2014). Prior to that, we were having a blast with the Collectibles program on the Cheezburger site.

He dropped out of contact with the fiftychat crowd a number of years ago. Hadn't had any contact with him since.

A giant of the early 2010s era of Off-Topic, and perhaps before my time as well. I remember him mostly under the VRWCAgent name. Hard to believe he last swung by CFC back in 2015, over nine years ago.

I also remember him mostly as Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy (iirc) Agent.
Although the details of our discussions are vague, I likely had a positive view of him.
It is sad to see so many members die, but it's what happens with time. RIP. May he be remembered.

Aah man, this sucks. I always hoped he would check in here to say hello one last time. I had so many fun interactions with him - immortalised in my signature!
Oh that sucks. He was good people; I especially remember playing with/against him in the CFCOT Civ game, fighting with/against the Libertarian Army of Doom.

He was a great member to the forum and it was a big bummer when he bailed. I'm sorry he's gone, and I always wished he had come back here. We loved him in fiftychat.
There have been a number of infamous hard-right wingers on this site who have come and gone, and he was one of the most notorious. But none went harder than he did while being open minded and making friends here. Unlike many, he was not a troll. He was kind, and just believed things that offended many of us then and would even more so with the crowd now.
He's most famous for this thread, which doesn't read much like a concession or a change of heart in 2024, but best believe in 2010 it was, and preceded a gradual and increasing acceptance over the following years before he got fed up with those who weren't patient with the conservative perspective.
