Upstairs, in the Civ forums. It's where I used to hang out before checking out OT and deciding to stay in the Colosseum. I visit Civ II once in awhile, if anyone wants to talk about Civ II: ToT strategy, but hardly anyone does anymore.

Well, there are also the steam forums, I'd say they've mostly taken the place of the less mature civ forums.

...Civfanatics is you want to discuss the game in a mostly positive tone.
...Reddit if you want to share screenshots and memes, or if you want to look at the screenshots of other people.
...the Steam Forums if you want to enjoy yourself and go into some mild flame wars with overly negative people, or if you just want to be overly negative yourself.
...the official Firaxis Forums if... ...to be honest, I don't know why you'd go there, never been there, so what do I know?

We win the Civilization forum games! I remember when I was making Civ 2 scenarios, I thought long and hard on whether to submit to CivFanatics or Apolyton.

It was a loss for me! I remember playing a very funny civ2 scenario about one of the israeli-arab wars, still have the save files from a game. But lost the scenario and no longer can find the original source. It's not in the archive here.

Their forums were kind of... weak. And I got expelled for insulting Madeleine Albright over the US government's unwillingness at the time to cease backing Indonesia on East Timor's occupation. Damn, it has been nearly 20 years!
