k, Beta testers, here's the patch, it's just the XML folder (I don't wanna reupload all that art, so just copy it over the existing Warhammer XML folder)

edit: I've also added a link for everyone that's not a tester for Beta v.55, just basically a fix for 1.61.

Norscan Huntsmen are ready to join the family. First post of the Norse thread in the unitforum, button is included, sorry taken from screenie no miniature for this one.:D

Edit: The norse I made before would be best fitting for Huskarls I think so I guess I will make another version with a better axe and a bareheaded version for the officer, Geirrmen I will also make of those, if that's ok. The Huntsmen are also meant for age of discovery Hunters. Norse don't develope much but if it's too ancient looking tell me.
 
I installed the patch,

directly went to the worldbuilder, so I don´t know if the CTD is still a problem.

The thing about the techs being available from the start seem to be corrected.

But in the worldbuilder, after enabling all techs, I couldn´t assign my city to any religions except the elves one (was playing as Nippon).

Very cool looking units Ploep. I won't even mention how nice of a dwarf they could be. :p

Hi there, i can start the new version with 1.52 still. didnt update yet, no need for that (as i am designing most of the time)
Had no crash, but it might have corrupted my worldbuilder quicksave file....

J look at these buttons, they dont really fit our colourfull style, but perhaps for some sort of magic they may be nice.

I took out all the religions and civics for now, I just wanted to focus on units and technology. Next'll be buttons and (blah) formations. And hopefully some text too. I might put in some rudementary religion, but I only have about 1/15th of the religious units I need, so it'll be a while before it's fully implemented.

As soon as the python files are done (I understand Lord O, you were on vacation, np) I'll put in the magic items and books too, so we'll see how that affects gameplay.

By the way everyone, if you haven't already, check out the demo for heroes of Might and Magic 5... it's good. But there are characters directly stolen from Warhammer! Wardancers and cold one knights are so obvious, it's a wonder they haven't been sued, seriously.
 
Ok fine:) fixed an issue with the huntsmenspear- dl updated - and uploaded the huskarls in the second post, hope you like them, not sure if the supposed officer should be used as such or just mixed with the group. The other Norse in the first post I recommend not to use cause I will do different models for the other units or just also put them in the huskarlunit to mix them more. This way they also will appear different from the vikings of other mods if they use my model too.

Hey J. Im still getting CTD's every now and again, even after installing the patch. had a couple when the first 'era' message pops up, and more just before the play button. hop you can fix this if its relevent.
 
The Dawi'zharr (Chaos Dwarves) (???)
What about Astragoth, High Priest and leader of the council of the oldest of the Sorcerers (this council leads the Dawi'zharr).
As a second leader you could have King Zharokan, who led the dwarves into worshipping Hashut and becoming Chaos Dwarves in the first place. (He hasn't been around for thousands of years, but he's an important part of Chaos Dwarf history)
