I'm legally blind (as opposed to illegally blind where I'd have to cover up my blindness and stay away from authoritive figures ) and the text is near impossible to read due to the high resolution requirements. My suggestion is bigger fonts or audio civilopedia entries.

And that's that. What do you all think?

Well you'd think that they'd let you use your own fonts (Times New Roman bold 14)

It's not a huge implementation by any means but it'd make reading a LOT easier for those of us who don't normally use 1024x768.

I'm actually more surprised that there isn't a mod or a patch or something to rectify that. I want to learn about all these civs (civ 1 and 2 didn't tell me enough) so I can be smarter (World history fascinates me.)

And I agree 100%, an option in the preference menu to make the font bigger shouldn't be hard, would help out many & have 0 drawbacks.

I am nearsighted myself, but I have to squint to see some things. In addition to your suggestions, I wish they would enlarge the minimap to full screen view without cities.
