Rivers of Gold. The Rise of the Spanish Empire by Hugh Thomas.

I just finished Indecision, by Benjamin Kunkel. I was a little disappointed to find out the whole thing was a clever mechanism to deliver drug-glorification and socialism.

I guess this is what happens to philosophy majors. ;)

Hour Game by David Baldacci.

I read another book of his, The Winner, a while ago - fairly good.

I just finished Found Money by James Grippando - it has some similarities to The Winner actually, but I'd say it's definitely better. I also read a James Patterson book, Four Blind Mice, which was terrible - both as far as the warped subject matter and the poor writing in general.

France -- a history of France.

Nothing atm. I want to read some philosopy though.

France: a history of France?

How about France: It's history?

France: a history of England.

Odd title for a book

Cucumber: a history of religion :)

Collapse - Jared Diamond

Just read Kill Me. It's Stephen White's newest book. Pretty good.

The war diaries of my grandfather. His handwriting was godawful, though. Thus far i only managed to read some typewritten summaries.

At the moment, I am perusing an essay entitled, "Poggio Bracciolini versus Lorenzo Valla: The Orationes in Laurentium Vallam". It's interesting reading-- Valla's a pretty cool guy.

Kurt Vonnegut- Cats Cradle

I started reading Outcasts from the Runesword series -
Did anyone read the whole series ?
Is it good ? (the series - not just this book)
Should i bother to acquire the other books of the series ?
(i don't want to start a new thread so i might as well ask it here:))
