These guys made good use of their covid-19 lockdown.

As per the rules of this forum, it is my responsibility to inform you that language you would not hear on Jeopardy! is used in this video.

Spoiler Video :

This video sometimes cheers me up. Why? What you always see is the finished product, polished and carefully crafted. I think there is a truth about it in how we all are, whether we work in entertainment or not—we don’t show our bloopers, we edit them out for broadcast. :)

I have watched a couple of his videos.
It always annoys me he is called "Thoughty2" and then starts every video by saying "Hello, FORTY-two here" ^_^

Yes. I think his videos are great stuff. He is one few youtubers who doesn't speak to his audience as if they have the attention span of a child.

This is the Bill Gates that I remember.

I know he’s doing a lot of good through his charity, all the causes and everything... but I miss hearing him talk about computers and software. Maybe it wouldn’t be so interesting nowadays since I have no clue what half the stuff is inside a computer now; I haven’t done any sort of repairs or troubleshooting on the internals of a (modern) PC for over a decade.

This came up and I watched it. YouTube is putting C-SPAN videos in my feed. Must be a product of their

p.s. One of them was of a young woman listening to "Wish You Were Here", I guess for the first time. I didn't really care about her, but Jesus Christ, evidently I have the lyrics to that song permanently embedded in my brain. Out of nowhere, I was singing along, and I haven't listened to that album in at least 20 years. So that was kind of fun.
That was one of the first songs I tried to learn to play on the guitar. I never did quite get it right :)

Anyone here follow the youtuber Thoughty2?

how to immedeatly curb any of my interest in your content:

"Thoughty2 creates mind-blowing factual videos" and all of them have clickbait titles. Yeah, nah. shame because his topics are of genuine interest to me.

I watched his video "the deadliest creature in the ocean" (actually even the title is factually wrong..) and it was TOP 10 MOST VIOLENT BUG FIGHTS DOCUMENTARY-tier. (ironically, I would have rather watched that).

What is going on here?

@Kyriakos (I know you like this kind of video)

1. that fish is dead
2. what is he doing in a hole? who is moving him around?
3. I'm not even sure that's an eel
4. they placed some bait in the dead fish
5. what the **** is going in with the music?

I haven’t done any sort of repairs or troubleshooting on the internals of a (modern) PC for over a decade.

It's like LEGOs, but less complicated

:(

I miss the old days. Not this old, though:

That's how a typewriter works when you have more than 2,000 keys.

The sentence man writes:

和文タイプライターは1915年に製品化され、2018年現在でも用役です。
The Japanese character typewriter entered manufacture in 1915 and remains in service today as of 2018.
