What is your ultimate goal?

When we get, when we get, when we get a little props and we really really get to where we gotta go, that's when you know it's on. You know what I'm sayin? Cuz right about now, I ain't braggin or nothin, but yo, The Wu, The Wu, got somethin that i know that everybody wanna hear, cuz I know I been waitin to hear. You know what I'm sayin? By now, I thought Id be in my own place, with a good steady job, and engaged to be married to a woman by this point in my life.

There's also a fantasy book that I've had in my head since I was 15, and I've always wanted to have it published, but if I ever do, it wouldn't be until I'm much older, and have put much more thought into it.

Try four or five. That's me.

Tough one. Power, wealth and influence are what I want, I'll admit.

I want to be wealthy. That's why we're opening my stock market account today or so. That's also why I'm working on writing a book or two during the Summer, so I can generate an asset pool.

Finally, I want to be a politician. All my family has great ambition. I want to be the greatest of them all, by sitting my butt down in the Oval Office's chair.

Overall, me want to be successful. Me want to remembered for all time.

It's an impossibility, especially when one is suffering Major Depression.

You were aiming for all the big ones, and expect them to keep to some time frame. High expectations often aren't very helpful.

So, pick one which you can have complete control over. You know what might work? Simple short term goals.

Exercise is good to get rid of depressions. Make it your goal to run a few miles every day. Or if you're like me, and not really the running type, just walk a few miles. You need to do this every single day. If you feel physically better, it will affect you emotionally. If you feel you have physical energy it will translate to a more positive look on life. Or pick something else. just set your mind to something simple you want to do, and do it. That alone will satisfy.

You made it clear you don't expect to reach any of your goals, and that's a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's very easy to get stuck in a woe is me self-pitying state because that mentality will work against you getting a job and thus getting a place of your own, and it will work against you meeting other people and socialising. So what I'm trying to get at is you need practise in reaching goals. This will give you confidence to reach other goals.

Don't expect miracles to happen, make them happen.

Be happy & fulfilled. That's everyone's ultimate goal (even martyr's only do it because they imagine they'll get some sort of fulfillment from their sacrifice).

I also want my daughter to be happy & fulfilled.
