What makes an office environment fun?

Except that you have bosses who don't believe you're really "sick". It's amazing how everybody gets sick on a Friday and when the weather is beautiful out.

Surprisingly enough, even though we technically get 100+ sick days and never ever have to use vacation days when we get sick.. nobody does what you describe. I mean, I'm sure it happens from time to time, but generally speaking around here people don't abuse their sick days. If anything people come in when they're sick because there's so much work to do (and they suck for thinking coming in sick is okay)

If your employer doesn't believe you when you're sick then either you have a really crappy employer or your department has a history of taking advantage of the system, or both. My employer respects me and I respect him back so we don't have these sorts of issues.
