Playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 again.
It's less challenging and frustrating than I remembered. Might be rebalancing fro the definitive edition, or maybe I just know what I'm doing.

MORDHAU released the other day, and I picked it up. It's still in launch cluster mode but once they fix that it's gonna be super dope.

so currently I'm playing mostly Outward (co-op), Sekiro (only for like 1 hour per day to keep frustration at minimum), PoE with Bird (hopefully I'll have some time soon again) and obviously Skyrim for mod testing and everything. Also looking to play Age of Empires II / Age of Mythology again sometime if anyone wants to play online that is. Still have yet to finish both Dark Souls II and Deus Ex :x Haven't touched Civ 6 in about a year, not very excited about it to bo honest.

Yeah, the original Sword of the Stars is an awesome game. The game is sort of like Total War in space. A stripped down turn based strategy map with real time battles where you command a small fleet of ships. You custom design your ships, selecting modules and weapons and defenses. The tech tree is semi randomized so you may not always have access to certain techs forcing you to adapt in different ways. Each race has their own completely unique system of travel which radically alters how the race is played. Humans have a sort of jump drive that is fast but can only travel along certain predetermined paths. The Hivers have sublight drives but once they get somewhere they can set up gates to travel places instantly. The Morrigi travel faster the more ships there are in a fleet. And so on.

Thanks for the thumbs up. For the price of a pop can't really say no anyway, was just wondering how much time to invest in it.

I looked up Indoctrination Theory in full. I don't really buy it, though.
It's been officially disproved, so well it's factually wrong.
But it's still smarter and more cohesive than the actual ending, so well...

Spoiler Mass Effect 3 ending :
I actually wonder if the Catalyst might've been lying to some extent. I think it said that if Shepard picked Destroy that they'd get messed-up because they were part-synthetic. But they turn out to be alive if you get enough EMS.

Who the hell programmed the Reapers, anyways? I guess they looked like giant bug-arthopod-seacreature things because that's what the Reapers look like. If they're trying to preserve organic life, they're doing a horrible job at it. Maybe another alternate ending would be to convince the Catalyst that their logic was faulty, which causes the Reapers to break down.

I'm super down to play AoE 2 online, but I only like to do comp-stomps and I'm not very good at the game.

me neither, I got the basics down but haven't played in ages.. :D I still find and lure both boars in under a minute without a villager dieing, I hope. I'll hit you up when I wanna play!

Have you played the Leviathan DLC, Aimee? You get some more answers there.

I guess I should try it. Maybe if I play ME3 again I'll also mod it to make it better. I've heard good things about a mod called Expanded Galaxy Map.

Anyone play Imperator:Rome? I've got my eye on that one

I fired it up for 10 minutes, looked at most of the information panels (diplomacy, overview, decisions etc) and quit

but I'm super super into the time period (Rome Total War) so I'm already plotting a campaign as Carthage

edit: I looked up your username, the identical match has 14 years of service with one friend who hasn't logged on since 2015. is this your profile? it makes me sad.

Okay, I watched a playthrough it on YouTube on it.

Spoiler Mass Effect 3 spoiler :
1. That explains things a bit more. I think. I'm not sure I really understood it entirely.
2. That scene at the end where Leviathan basically turns off the Reaper was pretty awesome.
3. Apparently if you bring Shepard's love interest along on the last mission, they get worried. I like that detail.
4. It's weird hearing female Shepard's voice coming out of a character that looks nothing like mine.

Er, no....that's strange...I made that Steam account a couple of years ago and it has a good number of friends at least two or three of whom are usually logged in at any given time.

I will welcome your impressions on Imperator when you actually play it ;)

Been replaying missions from Red Orchestra 2's campaign, I think I feel competent enough at the game now to play multiplayer.

Finished Act 1 in DOS2. It really seems a lot easier (well, relatively easir) this time. Won far more battles on the first attempt than before and only needed for tries for the boss fight.
Probably because I'm almost completely focused on physical damage and use magic mostly for buffs and healing.

RO2 still popular online now that we have RS2, BF5, and Post Scriptum?

According to steamcharts it's got anywhere from 300-500 people online any given day.
