I just assumed that Big Town sent their kids there. :dunno:

That and I'm assuming something slightly darker as well. Something like some couple has a child that they realize they can't take care of for whatever reason so they abandon the child at this rumored place they've heard of called Little Lamplight. If I remember right, Little Lamplight is on the route for the trade caravans, so its existence must be known to the wider wasteland.

Which opens up another possibility: any orphans the traders find on the road probably get left at Little Lamplight the next time that caravan stops there.

I got Stardew Valley and I might have accidentally named my new farm "Farm Farm".... :shifty:

You've only just heard about Pillars of Eternity? I'm very surprised to hear that.
I actually heard -or, well, read- of it back when it came out, on TVTropes of course, and since I stumbled into heavy spoilers I put it out of my mind for a while.
Anyway, 75 USian dollars? Between that and the need to upgrade my computer (more money) it's still off the table.
Honestly I just want it to end haha. I'll watch some videos of him interacting with players on YouTube. I want to finish it for the sake of finishing it but I've had about as much enjoyment as I can get out of it. It's a game I want to finish because of the role it played in starting the franchise but in the end I don't think it's a particularly good game. And based on some other comments people have made here, it's probably not even the best example of its genre.
That's like watching somebody stream a Choose Your Own Adventure game. You're missing out on all the fun!
Total Warhammer pls

war war is as wrong as two repeated words can be
War. War never changes.

If you ever start reading Norse sagas, never, ever translate the placenames.

The first PoE is 75 dollars in Argentina?! At full price, it's $25 USD here. I got it years ago for like $10 during a sale, though.

Yes. There's farms named ‘Farm’, just to start with. And I'll leave it at that.

I think it's a two-game bundle with a season battle pass or something like that, but still, with the required upgrades for memory-hogging stuff it's no thanks. Our glorious new Nazi government* has slapped a 30%new tax on purchases on abroad just because.

*not kidding about the Nazism.

That PoE must not be Path of Exile.

EDIT: Oh Pillars of Eternity. Please don't confuse what is not the real PoE with other games.

Games do not need to have been played by Birdjaguar to exist.

Well, I guess imaginary games do have a place as long as we don't confuse them with real games. :p

I mean I'm fine missing out on Fallout 1's particular brand of fun. It's not that great of a game. Maybe it was at the time (I wasn't into that genre at the time so I couldn't tell you) but there are better options out there now.

Honestly if someone modernized the UI, I'd play it again. 90% of my beef with the game is the UI, no joke. It's that atrocious that it takes me out of the fun.

Star Trek Online. :assimilate:

I liked that game but PvP was weak sauce. You either got crushed by someone who dropped lots of money on a nice ship or you start a match and the other person quits when they are close to losing. Overall it was pretty good and I only stopped playing because of a severe graphical glitch that made it impossible to play.

I thought STO was too hard. I rage-quit when I reached the Bajoran(?) part of the story.

I didn't get too far in the main story but I did side missions and cruised around battling Borg without any real issues.

Frankly I don't PvP in STO, I'm too fond of winning to really enjoy it.

75 $ ?
It's 36 € (so maybe 40-45 $ ?) on GOG.
Just so you know, if you're looking at the same sort of old-school-party-based-RPG, there is also Pillars of Eternity 2 : Deadfire and Pathfinder : Kingmaker. Both great.
