This time with proper numbering because I'm lame.

I like video games.

Older editions:

If you overclock your computer to make heavily-modded games run better without properly cooling it, though.... ;)

So I downloaded a nice custom house for one of my Sim families to move into. I put it down in Strangetown, and noticed....it looked a little out of place for a desert.

So I just did a bit of redecorating. :)

Also it's hard to tell without getting up close but I also did some tweaking with the NVIDIA Profile Inspector. It makes some of the old low-res textures look a bit nicer.

I think you could have left a couple of the plants outside.

I put some cactuses there after taking the picture.

I have been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC, kind of Grand Theft Autho with horses. Graphics and such are awesome. Virtual Reality would be amazing with this thing. Probably it would need several HAL 9000s to run properly though.

My RDR2 copy is looming over me. I feel guilty for not playing it but these days I just don't have the motivation for a game that requires some real commitment.

Either Path of Exile has become a lot easier or I've become a lot better without playing for two years. The Vaal oversoul went down like a chump. My Shadow only uses two attack skills and Frostblink. Cobra Lash with Chain and Bleed Suppoert for weakening groups and Viper Strike with Poison and Crit damage suppoert for the coup de grace. I have 60% of my mana reserved for Herald of Purity, Herald of Ice and War Banner.
Makes the game pretty simple for now.
I'm also getting far more unique items than before, but most of them are from metamorphs.
You are getting better at putting a character together. Herald of Purity is a great add. You get damage, the spirits attract bad guys. How are you doing with the metamorphs? They are the tough ones this league.

I want this game pretty bad. I don't know if you guys had this old one but I used to have a game called Gun on PS2 and it was basically GTA on horses as well. One of my favorite games of all time, that, and RDR2 looks to be very similar.

I think it's still on discount (20-25 percent), and it's way less cheaper than Skyrim SE (a big rip off for me that one).

edit: I just checked steam, it's more expensive than SE.

I don't like fantasy stuff very much so I've not played Skyrim. I don't even know what the SE stands for!

It's stand for special edition Hobb, it's the same Skyrim with graphic and other convenient tweak but they charged it with more than a full price.

I'd really like RDR2 as well, looks super fun. Can't justify the price at the moment, even on sale.

I pre-ordered the Resident Evil 3 Remake because why wouldn't I? However, it doesn't release until April so it's just sitting in my library taunting me. It's even fully installed, it's just locked until the release date.

So I'm going back and playing every Resident Evil game I own to hold me over and keep me hyped.

I do want to say though that Capcom has been knocking it out of the park lately with the Resident Evil franchise. It seemed like the series was turning into another triple a cashgrab crapfest after RE6, but RE7 was amazing, the RE2 Remake was even better, and so far it looks like the RE3 Remake is going to be at least as good as the RE2 Remake. Good on Capcom for seemingly righting the ship and earning back the goodwill of Resident Evil fans.

I'd like to think so.
I've tried out some other characters, but none of them have the combined damage output and survivability of a Chaos DoT Shadow, and the act bosses are much easier than I remember.

Yeah, it's pretty great. I got the skill gem as a random drop and thought I'll just use it until something better comes along, but it's so good that I took a detour in my skill tree just to raise my strength to upgrade it.

Some of them were the toughest enemies I've faced, but that' not saying much. Pretty hard at the beginning (my only death was against a metamorph), but they aren't so tough now.
Couple of Viper Strikes, blink away, wait until energy shield recharges, Viper strike, blink away etc...
Damage over time with energy shield focused defense seems a bit OP.
Are you using a golem? Any CWDT set up? What is your character's name?

I recommend the Resident Evil 2 boardgame if you are into board games. It's a bit complicated but it's good co-op fun. If you act out the zombie attacks and just goof about, I think it would be a good game to teach a kid and play with them after about 3rd grade or so.

I'll look into that. My oldest watches me play Resident Evil and she likes board games so I think she'd like it.

No golem. Only minions are from Herald of Purity.
Had to google CWDT. Nope. Just Riposite.
Character name is Varak.
A nice CWDT set up is: CWDT - Immortal Call - Blood Rage - Duration or curse spell. If you set the spell to trigger at about 900 damage to you (low), the required gem levels will all be about level 36. Read the CWDT gem wording carefully. The higher the gem level the more damage needed to trigger it.

Each of the various golems add to your attacks, damage, life or crit. For running the lab, a high level stone golem is nice because it can up to 100 life per second. You should check them out. Have you run any Labs this league?

I wasted something like 5-6 hours on a new early access game called This Land Is My Land. Brilliant in concept, but as it's in early access, pretty lacking in UX and unfortunately buggy. Nothing out of the ordinary, to be expected really, but still quite rough around the edges. I got eaten by bears both times I died, but I did kill several dozen palefaces beforehand.
