Playing Witcher 1 Enchanted edition last night, the game really dated quite... It's not the same way I remember the game, I playing it in a lesser machine years ago yet it was fine, now trying to run it on corei 7, ddr3 16 gb and 4 gb gforce 1050, and the old game was stuttering  Now I just keep dragging myself to play it hoping I will enjoy playing the game eventually.

@hobbsyoyo I'd be surprised if it isn't free within a year it's gotta be hitting 95% market saturation by now and going to Epic exclusive won't improve that.

oh you probably still can, Epic bought the developers out and took it off steam :\

Not to sound alarmist or anything but if Epic takes off and crushes it's competition my only refuge will be my PS4. That would be a sad day though to be limited to just one platform but worth it if I don't have to bow down to tyranny I mean err...Epic.

Seriously though, I'm a Steamaholic with a lot of money invested and I'm just concerned about my investment.

If you're DRM-averse, I read somewhere that Dishonored and all its dishonorable DLC and sequels are available on GOG now. Highly recommended. The recent Wolfenstein games are aGOG now too, but those are more run-of-the-mill shooters, good mayhem, but not essential.

steam's not going anywhere. Epic is just throwing fortnite money around. Steam still has like 90% of the market.

And that is far more enabling of tyranny than what Epic is doing.

I think most of my game purchases are on GOG now (except the Humble Bundles).

I have put my fingers on Darksiders 2 - It's a fine platformer - hack and slasher. It's not great for me because I actually suck at the "platforming" aspect of the game  Nevertheless I am surprised how much that game can suck me in behind the monitor - I usually am not a big fan of action games.

I'm a bit ashamed to admit it, but I'm on an intense Stardew Valley run.
Used a mod to slow down the time as it was making what is supposed to be a relaxing game into a stressing jog, but once done it's soothing and a hefty case of "one more day" syndrome. Typically the kind of game where all fun stops once you've got everything maxed, but until then it's a lot of hours doing repetitive-yet-fun tasks.

Hey , there's nothing to be ashemed of ! I tried that game on SNES simulator and it I've got to say plant cultivation is a fascinating process, enough to keep You glued on to the controls for quite a while ;)

I been playing it too. I (accidentally) gave my farm the rather uncreative name of Farm Farm, but my three chickens are named Atilla the Hen, Cluck Norris, and Eggspresso.

Oh I remember You posted their names a while ago ! :) Those are 10/10, 5 stars, super-duper chicken names !! You've got a talent for names ! ;)

I made an Awesome Flamethrower Thingy in Besiege.

I am an excellent builder. :smug:

BINGO!!!!!

We have a winner! Especially since the parent company's primary revenue stream is the development of DRM.

That's intersting, I found I couldn't get into Stardew Valley exactly because of the time system. It would be much more fun if you didn't have to sleep...

Nothing to be ashamed of.
Not really, it was half tongue-in-cheek. It's just not really the sort of game I'm into usually. It must reach some sort of design honeypot.

I used this mod to slow down the time to 10 mn per 10 s instead of 7 s, and it completely changed the feeling of the game.
I don't mind having to sleep, not only it's pretty normal (hard to have an active lifestyle without sleeping) but I find that it somehow make the game a bit like Civ : a day is a turn, in which you do all the routine stuff plus the stuff that depends on the situation. Give a good canvas for the game.
