What Video Games have you been playing II: Have you finished that backlog?

Infinite was better than the first two Bioshocks. Bioshock 1 was good, not great. Bioshock 2 was meh, and I never completed because it crashed way too often. Infinite was actually great.
The combat was terrible and the story was dumb/nonsensical. The only good thing was the atmosphere/setting.

So, I just downloaded Neverwinter 2 plus all expansions. Awesome game, now if the camera obeyed to me all the time..

I recommend I and II of Baldur's Gate and IceWind Dale, then.

Just beat Mass Effect 2. What a game! It's twice as good as the first. The characters, the humor, plot, graphics, weapons, DLC, armor, customization, exploration, class strengths/weaknesses, gameplay, the elimination of the goddamned elevators and painful shopping, pretty much everything is much better.

However, my friend informs me that what happened to me in the last level will come back to bite me. Really hard. I did my best, but it wasn't enough, and I suspect I know what will happen.

Still, it says something that the game was able to make me care so much about the characters and plot.

Been putting some time into Warthunder.

Just got my Tiger and Panther :)

Starcraft 2 again (just wings of liberty). Who wants to play?

If I had a copy…

Meanwhile, I've gotten over my Frozen Bubble addiction by winning the game and running out of levels. ;)

Yeah, I'm fairly certain my choices and things that happened to me in ME2 will probably end up sentencing one or two species to death and possibly the galaxy with them in ME3.

Crap.

I could be convinced for Project Zomboid, Dungeon Defenders, MechWarrior Online, Vindictus, L4D2, Hammerwatch, or LoL. Blizzard prices are out of the budget atm and for whatever reason they kinda make me start hating games in general after a while.

Multiplayer is the saviour of the galaxy. Didn't you know?

I don't have any of those :p Fortunately Starcraft 2 finally dropped in price this year. It's now $20/$20 for SC2 and the first xpac.

What do you mean? I know nothing about MP, and tend to avoid it like it's smelly, especially on consoles.

Drat!

Well, other than that ME3 MP was surprisingly good, it's much easier to save the galaxy if you've ratcheted up a high multi-player score.

Lately, Empire Total War and Alpha Protocol.

I agree. What irked me about BioShock 1 & 2 (I haven't played Infinite) was the feeling that I had missed the proverbial party. Rapture seems like a great setting for a Terry Gilliam-esque story that I haven't gotten to watch or play.

In the single player, you mean? Huh. I might have to try it. Maybe. I'm wary of the console MP crowd.

Success in the game is based on war-score. Not only is your score reduced (up to 50%!) if you don't take part in regular MP matches, said matches also provide healthy boosts to your war score.

Oh dear. The galaxy's probably screwed and lots of people are going to die because in my ME2 playthrough
Spoiler :
Legion and Thane died despite my best efforts and FWIW I blew up the Heretics.
I've got one friend advising me to play it again to correct that, and another saying I should stick with my decisions and mistakes for a more powerful story.

Definitely stick with your mistakes for the first time through. You can go back and do a "perfect" run-through at any point in the future.

I agree with the second person, provided the game is written well enough to accommodate your decision/action and it isn't a roadblock to progressing.
