I'm pretty fired up this election. I'm sure this isn't news to anyone here :)

Anyhow, I went out and voted early for the first time in my life. I think I'm going to start voting as early as possible every year :goodjob:

Way to lock in your Romneyfeller vote before he embarrasses himself and you change your mind during the debate tomorrow. ;)

Pics or it didnt' happen. I'll be providing my ballot pictures early tuesday morning Nov 6th!

I turned 18 in August, mailed in my registration form at the end of August (I live kinda far away from a DMV in my county and far from my county courthouse), and I still haven't gotten my voter registration card yet :( My state's election site lists me as registered though...

Also, I'm probably going to just vote on election day my entire life unless I have some conflict that requires me to vote early. I don't want to vote early, then have some major thing happen to my candidate so that I regret voting for them.

Honestly, and this is going to sound terrible, I am such a dedicated partisan at this point that I am not sure that's on the table for me.

I may end up not liking Obama, and I'm already not 100% in love with him, but eff it. I know what my goals for the country are and he's the closest thing I have.

I voted early 5 days ago! :smug:

SUCK IT

As SNL put it

OBAMA: You can vote for whats been barely working, or you can vote for this...
RYAN: When I said that I could do 100 situps in 5 seconds, what I meant I could do 5 situps eventually. Dont worry Iam not a lier it just means Iam bad at maths. Now lets talk budget.
OBAMA: Its a christmas miracle

I registered to vote absentee the other day, hopefully my ballot arrives in time lol.

Shoot, thanks for reminding me. I moved down the street in May and need to update my registration.

Of course, it isn't like it matters if I vote or not. I live in one of the most spectacularly uncompetitive House districts in the US (and perhaps THE more gerrymandered one), and Illinois. So....yeah.

I'll be voting in November.

Absolutely not voting. Neither of the presidential candidates can be voted for, it would be essentially immoral to vote for either. All local races will be easily won by Republicans except the House seat is automatically Democrat and the statewide races are going Republican. I might go vote for the Republican for govenor just to see where our new polling station is. They (the liberals) moved it in an effort to disenfrancise the local elderly Republican voting block, being mistaken in the belief that old white people wouldn't be able to find the new one in time to vote.

So I'll probably go down to the old polling station and be sure that the liberals who will be there giving out incorrect directions aren't able to get away with it.

What... a load of libel. Source for the bold? Evidence? Case?

Please give sources or one may note your just making stuff up.

You live in the headphones/earmuffs district?

My American hero.

I'll vote next month.

No offense to anyone who has voted early, but I see it as among the stupidest things ever implemented. Voting perhaps a couple days early? That's fine. But voting more than a month beforehand? Silly. Borderline ridiculous.
