Here in Central Ohio, it is 58F and partley cloudy. Were expected to get some t-storms around midnight, but nothing in the severe area.

How's the weather around your area?

Happy New Year everybody!

In general, or currently?

Currently, it's rainy and cloudy out, taking out the foot of snow we had for about a week.

In general? Well, there is no "general" Chicago weather, all year round we get a taste of just about everything :)

Currently it's cold, snow's melting, not very fun.

Generally it's pleasant down here in NC. Warm summers, cool winters, very diverse weather.

Dreary all year round. Minnesota isn't as cold as some people think it is, IMO.

Rain in the summer, clouds in the winter. We don't get nearly enough tornadoes as I'd like it to be.

Currently, It's cloudy.

Beautiful all the time. Right now it is about 65 and sunny...in the dead of winter!

In Tennessee, it's generally warm and somewhat humid summers with cold, drier winters, and fall and spring are somewhere in between. Oddly, it's in the mid-sixties (F) and very sunny today. That'd very odd for this time of year though.

Generally, you've probably all heard about Western Washington's weather.

Currently 34 F, everything is covered in a layer of frost, and the sky is blue, which happens every once a month or so.

The first snow of the winter is on the ground, at long last - yay!
The forecast for this evening is -7°F/-22°C with -25°F/-32°C windchill.

Live weather-cam at Denver.

Happy New Year everyone!

In Corvallis, Oregon it's 37F and partly cloudy.

It was 6 above when I was out earlier, melting all the snow, driving me nuts.

Currently clear skies and 26 F at 4:30 in the afternoon. Colder than usual.

Typically NM has 320 sunny days a year and less than 10 inches of rain.

You mean it gets below freezing in New Mexico!?! :wow: I thought it was eternally above 100 degrees there!

So it's warmer here than there. Weird.

NM is not Phoenix or Tuscon Arizona. We are high desert and mountainous. We have four distinct seasons: summer fall, winter and wind. Albuquerque is at 5200 feet, same as Denver and our eastern backdrop, the Sandia Mts, have a ski slope that is typically open Dec-Mar.

Winter lows in Albuquerque get to 10 F regularly.
