I put always down but when I didn't have a woman around the house it didn't care whether it was up or down. Many times at 3am though I'm really happy when it's down so my butt doesn't hit water. Who stands at 3am when they tinkle?

For me the toilet seat is always down in my bathroom.

At other places i only put it down when i sit on it. If its already dont and im just peeing, i dont bother to put it up.
