Which Civ will be in next week's First Look video? I assume they will continue showing off a civ once a week from now on.

I think Arabia, Spain, Germany, Greece, Rome, Russia, and India are likely guesses. By the end of September, those civs will definitely have first look videos.

Rome. It'll be the 1899th anniversary of Trajan's death on Monday.

I'm thinking one of two civs they absolutely must have in game - Greece or Rome (i voted Greece)

I think Greece, because we havent seen a diplomacy focused civ so far.

I would think that it would be about time to unveal a new Civ, so I'm voting B5.

I'm going to keep guessing India, because someday I might be right.

Well for each civ revealed you will have a better chance to pick the right one next time;)

I wonder what India's abilities will be: Population growth and Ghandi's ability is pacifism hardly representive for India's history.

They are changing things up. I think it will be a religious civ.

Pretty random. I have no even subtle basis to guess. Still voted India, just because it's one of the civs already mentioned and it's Asia, which is not covered great.

I think they did a lot of infodump this week to keep us feed while they go on vacation. So, in my mind, no civ will be released next week :(

I suspect it'll be Rome, because Trajan. However, if they're going to bring some focus to the religious gameplay, I think Spain is also likely.

Since the Olympics are starting tomorrow I would make it a very high probability that both Greece and Rome will be introduced next week. Since the games are in Rio, Brazil was introduced this week. Spain is also known for it's love of the arena(specifically the Bullfight Arena) so they'll likely be coming out within the next 2 weeks. Russia known for it's Olympic prowess is also likely to be revealed and soon. That will give us a grand total of 12 revealed Civs. 18 was the initial total expected. But as indicated from the dev team and other gameplay previews, the final product may yet allow for more Civs. And since the now famous wall of portraits have been seen, it's almost certain that more than 18 Civs will be part of the release game in 2 months.

Good point, really it is very likely we see Greece or Rome next week.

But I want to see Sumer, but I know that its chances are not great.

I think we're due for an ancient civ. Not sure which one, but voted for Greece. Would be nice to be surprised by Sumer.

I'm feeling some Germany, don't know why

I bet Germany will get bonuses for being aggressive toward city states seeing as Barbarossa is the leader, perhaps a way to bully them into giving bonuses? Anyway since they showed a little about city states and religion I'm guessing Spain or Germany.

For some reason I really want Rome to be the next one. I thought they were boring to death in CiV so I'm not sure where this craving comes from.
