I'd be willing to do Europe... my main issue is where do I limit it... there aren't any really natural borders like there are in the Americas... I wouldn't want to be much larger than Europe, North Africa, and the Levant, but I don't see how to prevent players from wanting to go off in all directions.

Well if you don't go with my UK idea, simply demand we start in "Germany" or "France" or where ever you pick.. its not like we can migrate far to make any sense.. or simply say beyond XXXX there be so many beasties you will die.

EDIT: And if the populations are small enough you can just limit it to some place like Britain, as mentioned above, or better yet--Iberia! Natural wall at the pyrenees mountains.

Well I honestly think the UK would be easily big enough, and the less isolation might actually be fun as we get interactions between tribes faster!

Yes, the author (85% sure about this) did actually turn up in relation to that particular NES and that was the cause of the death of that NES. Not going to elaborate beyond that though, but I will say, not very happy about the course of events.
