I didn't know where else to make my first mark on this forum; so...

I'm thinking about joining an NES. I discovered this through a thread in the IOT forum, and I think I have a broad idea-it's like a much larger scale version of what we do over there. Currently reading through the "NESing Guide". Anyone have a suggestion on any open NES I could join?

What kind of game do you think you'd be interested in? There are story-writing games, "alt-world" nation ruling games, "fresh start" games starting in the stone age and up, and a couple board-gamey feeling games such as Prohibition and UptheArrr Tournament (pirates vs french vs spanish vs england).

One I'd suggest would be TerraNES: the Civil Experiment, a fresh-start low-stress game Edit: I'm a city-state in northern italy known as Ctesiphod.. Also all around fun. I will also be starting a zombie-survival NES very soon.

That's actually ideal-means I don't have to spend lots of time on it either . However, I don't think I'll join more than two, and I already joined one.
