between us we can do anything!

Oh, that's where the .sav was. I'm sorry about that. Will wait until its my turn again. I'm probably ready by Thursday.

Since nobody decided to take a shot at it, now that I have access to my C3C PC, I thus took my turn.:p

Besides a loss of a warrior in exploration (a full strength warrior dieing against a goodie hut spawned barb:(), nothing notable occurred. The land around Nessos was developed further, and four or five warriors (can't remember how many) were built after the settler Daft started finished, tasked with revealing the shroud as mentioned before, and I hoped to found a good spot to settle NESville, but I ended holding the settler way way too long and only just founding the city on the 40th turn. But otherwise, Babylon is still standing, thats always good news when I'm playing!:)

great job Matt!

BTW, as you may know the capturable princessess mode is on. I hope its not going to affect anything apart from points scoring that we won't care about anyway...?

I think Yui should go next unless LJ is ready.

I have no idea how to capture princesses by the way. I'll try downloading the game and see what's what. I'll edit something in if it screws up/works.

EDIT: BEHOLD! THE TURNS HAVE PROCEEDED!

Emperor LJ the Handsome emerged to the throne of Nessos; soon thereafter, he completed the training of grand warrior bands that would soon conquer weak nearby tribes. However, with the glorious assault upon a puny tribal village, after defeating one vile barbarian, another was too much, even for His dutiful soldiers. There was only one way to solve the loss; by sending even more soldiers to conquer the tribal village!

Spoiler The glorious army of LJ moves southwards. :

After building an actual wall, Nesian engineers have now developed the advanced techniques of placings rocks as if they're actually constructions. With Masonry done, LJ's wise decision is to fastly develop Pottery for the greater good of his people - they shall not starve! Of course, the food to actually put into the said granaries is pillaged from the puny village to the south. Even on the way, the mighty armies of LJ crushed several wild-beasty savages! Now there was only to have the village succumb to his might. Finally, LJ undersaw the citizens' project of founding Eljayville, where thousands of volunteers died in slavery as the city was risen from lowly terrain.

Spoiler Future Capital of the Milky Way! :

After the long journey of warriors, the hardy men of LJ were misdirected head-on into the enemy (misclick), and now faced two savage armies without the safety of defensive terrain. Thousands of generals were immediately executed, and LJ then died of old age after a long and glorious reign, passing on the crown to ___.

Spoiler Poop. I'm sorry. Time to not screw up anymore. :

(I'm sorry if I screwed up too much, my understanding of whatever going on has equaled none more than a doorknob's ability to speak to fishes. Also, I'm prematurely apologizing if my naming the city Eljayville was too egotastic. You may change it. I just found it amusing.)

New to NESsing, one of my college friends had gotten very involved in one of these back in 2005 though and I wanted to see what it is all about. My name is Reginald P. Advantage, can someone give me some quick 'n dirty tips on NES glory?

My friend always thought I had a knack for this thing in our International Relations class. I see from a cursory exploration that he hasn't played one of these in quite some time.

Plenty of people can but this is the wrong place to be asking such questions and the answers vary depending on the NES itself. Post it in the While We Wait thread which is the OOC thread for the NESing forums and see what people say. The way I learnt to play was to browse a bit, read the guide and then plunge straight in.

Great update lord_joakim :D I trust the worker called Daftpanzer is still toiling away for the greater good?

Alright, Yui next? I think North King is still offline.

Also I suggest building the pyramids at all costs for the free granaries and thus more pop growth. Even if Nessos is the only really fertile area that might get high pop. Honour demands it.

There is a button also, with an 'abc' icon, when you have the 'advanced unit actions' options thing on. You can see it in LJ's screenies.

The only worker I had (Possibly the Daftpanzer one) is still alive, removing Forests :D

Essentially right now you can either join a stupid game and jerk around (stupidity), or join a non-stupid game and jerk around FOREVER (waiting for updates).

Why didn't you settle further north with the dyes and the gold, or to the south with the cow and the hills?

Jungle choked land isn't all that great.

Because I thought it was a forest. As I said, I have only played Civilization III for about half an hour before this session. :)

But it's the best civgame!

I suggest you to read the NESing Guide, as well as finding a nes to jump in!

Just remember, we are all (hopefully) helpful people, so you can ask the moderator and any NESer that isn't in the game you are talking about via PM.

P.S. All the NESers here were once new, so just try out some ways to play, fight a war or two, peace mongler some games and find your style. After you find your style: play another style. Just enjoy tending a person, a city, a state, a country or an empire to greatness!
