Mattford is quickly founded in the name of the new Nessos despot, with numerous sugar resources nearby, workers were soon sent out to connect them to the greater NESian Empire...some years later however, due to the lack of significant production.
Respecting/Appeasing ancient tradition, NAO Chi Minh City is the name given to the second city soon founded after Mattford.
Many celebrate the continuous prosperity and growth of the Empire, however new reports of the Aztecs to the south reveal that this simply isn't the case.
Furthermore, after successfully defending the Pleasant Bay colony to the north from successive American attacks for years, the spearmen garrisoned there are simply too exhausted and worn down to stop the fourth American assault from breaching the walls of the city.
This was just an omen of what was to come however. Just after New Pleasant Bay is settled (in the admittedly not so pleasant jungle), a giant American horsemen army appears, traveling through the new Persian settlements and mountains bordering the north edge of the NESian Empire. Dark days seem to be on the horizon.
I only played ended up playing 12 turns, because, what the hell should be done in to deal with those half dozen American horsemen (plus the odd settler)? IIRC there's only 4-5 spearmen and a warrior in the area.
