So, I was struck by a random thought while reading the S&T thread: given the number of countries in a given popular game like LINESII, NES2 VI / V, or ITNES, it'd be entirely possible to construct Civ3/4 scenarios out of them.

It would, I was also thinking of the same for EUIII/MTW2

The map editing process for the later are really hard to get to grips with if your new to it, especially for the scale of what you'd be trying to do. THe former, I'm not so sure about, guessing its similar (graphical program + lots of fiddling about with text files).

I entirely support this endeavor, as long as I don\'t have to make them.

Seems to me as though certain civs would require getting corrupted to death as representative of their position, i.e. the Ottomans of early NES2 VI (before silver and I destroyed them! ) or both Qing Chinas.
