While We Wait: Part 5

Mhm. I've gone through, I believe, seven or more different governments since the start of LINES II. Let's see- the first Kingdom (Kali), the Republic of Davar, the Bishop of Arcadia, The Bishop of the Union of Ardan, the Republic of the Union of Ardan, the Despot of the UoA, and now the Despots. Iggy, you remember anything other than these?

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with changing gov'ts. That's about the first thing I do when joining a nes.
Yes, yes, you've been through a lot of governments. It's hard not to, being in a NES that has lasted multiple millennia; if you hadn't, then I'd have to shoot Iggy or something because nothing lasts that long. Not China, not Rome, nothing except the United States of America. :p On a serious note, though, Sheep changed his government I believe three times in the same year on purpose so as to destabilize his government (which flyingchicken mentioned). That's slightly unusual though not unheard of by now.

Just like any good Ph.D. of international relations, he knew the deleterious effects of political instability.

Hmm, let me think without looking at the ones you wrote. Started off with the little Kingdom around Dava (Kingdom of Davar) that fought against Eldrania, became a Republic in the Valin Model (Republic of Davar), became Pirian Oneist, Lengels Showed Up and managed to break through the Keran Range, You survive on with the recently-created Arcadian colony, become a Theocracy (Arcadia), Lengels Collapse, Davar freed, then unites with Arcadia (Union of Ardan), Conquer Orum lose Arcadia to Zamdar, fall into chaos, return as an the Orumo union based around Ashryndar which includes Ardan (Achostai).

So yeah, that's prety much it.

It's an unfair label, since he only really did it as Oceania in that one NES (one that I wasn't here for yet), but it stuck the same way I got stuck as a Graeco-Roman player.

He also did it as Russia in NES2 II. In the middle of a war. Whilst also "forgetting" about several fronts.

Haha, that's funny. That was before my time, obviously.

Out of curiousity, do I have a reputation for anything?

Being an ass to moderators.

Being a stubborn enemy ;)

Dropping the update requests would help as well.

More specifically, feel free to USE THE IRC CHATROOM right now, as there are people there. Wow.
Damn that cruise, I missed another active spell on IRC. How about we throw another party right about now? Time might be a bit odd for some of our players, but I'm experiencing some serious jet lag right about now.
And did you guys ever seriously go "hey I have an idea someone else mod it"?

I find it all weird.
I wanted to say that, until I realized that the only way I could be sure that the concept would be executed to my satisfaction would be to run it myself. I enjoy ChaNES, but I do wish I had enough time to run some more obscure concepts, too.
Mods.

A] Update everything together
B] Write the update and post it.. then calculate stats/map etc?
C] Other
I prefer to do A, but I often find that the stats and map take so long that I need to do B to remind everyone that the NES is still alive.

When is BirdJag coming back :(

 Sorry LJ, you got pretty hosed.

The two areas you wanted to expand into were being expanded into by others also.. and then while your army was busy trying to do that, you got invaded

For me its your odd ability to format your posts completely differently to anything I have ever seen before!

It's secret knowledge reserved for 23 year-old Ph.D's of International Relations who make $9,000,000 a year and are in the top 99.99999% of the population for intelligence, man. Get it right.

Who also happen to be stoners and pathological liars.

Oh, sorry about that. My sincere apologies to the person in question.

EDIT: Doublepost. :D

It's ok Abaddon, although I was pretty pissed when looking at the initial map. Gaddam, I really put work into that NES! I hope that I won't die.
