Because the idea of worshiping a dead guy who had little proof other than his friends writing for him that he was the son of god seems really foolish and people should be ashamed of it. Worshiping someone just because everyone else does is not a sign of intelligence.

You know what else people should be ashamed of? Mocking other people's religions, or beliefs in general. In my opinion, anyone who does so needs a dose of maturity.

I hope the catagory of people I just mentioned would face reality - publicly ranting against religion or politics does nothing but make the ranter look idiotic; instead of displaying any form of intelligence in their arguement, they appear ignorant.

But you didn't mock yourself. There is a different between saying "I am ashamed for believing it" and "People should be ashamed for believing it".

The way I see it, I can mock the religion all I want and if it's 100% true their god has to forgive me. He said so himself.

Why? Because I've read the bible and spent much of my youth going to loads of church events every week and know more about it inside and out than you do? Christianity is a joke and I am ashamed I ever believed it.

I attend and have attended a private Christian school. I doubt you know more than I do.

And I'd like to hear your arguements. I mean real, mature ones. I could yell that East Timor has had the most historical impact of any nation, but unless I can back it up, most people would not pay attention to my arguement.

If you don't want to, or more likely don't have any, than I will just breeze over this incident, as I don't have time to have a petty "yes-no" arguement.

Christian school is nothing when you have to live with a family that has three preachers in it.
