While We Wait: The Next Generation

I'm not in every NES. I cite SpNES, a Brave New World Part 2, The Age of War: Napoleon's Ambition, Pre-EkoNES, Fall from Heaven NES, Superpowers NES, Pre-ChaNES, SheepNES, End of Empires III, Altor NES, and NDNES.

I like original ideas, but that doesn't mean I join everything.

I find it amusing that you can count all the NESes you aren't in. I'm only in two active NESes. (BTW Pre-EkoNES is a pre-thread only)

I think its generally best to focus your NESing into a limitted number of NESes instead of spreading yourself out across so many. If you were more focused you would do better in the NESes you are in.

End of Empires III is just silly.

I hope to be around for that one all the same. :p

How is the ol update coming neway? :)

I cannot see any merit in that. It is easier for me to maintain things if it is open, and it cuts down in the clutter by everything being together.

It's no thing for us to open the thread and allow you to make changes to it. We certainly did it enough when Reno was doing it. In fact, we can access it just fine when it's closed and update it that way.

Having it locked keeps it clean and uncluttered. Take a look at the faq thread in Site Feedback, or the Quick Answers/'Newbie' questions in the Civ3/4 forums... Easier to lock them down and keep one thread updated while having a cluttered thread open and occasionally purge it.

The only thing I find annoying about having less sticky threads is that I have to look closer to the top of the list than I'm used to. Totally took me by surprise the first time I looked in after the change. :king:

I opened Page 1 of the forum and counted down through most of it.

Didn't you quit Neverwonagame? join eqs nes man!

He wouldn't because he had to be a super power to want to play.

I wanted to be a Great Power. There is a difference.

So try and turn something into a Great power? thats why I picked Bolivia course I screwed it up, I think I might go tin-pot dictator instead we never have any of those in nesing.
well known of the neses I've been in anyway.

Done it once or twice. It is far more fun then actually running something well for the most part, but it gets old comparatively fast.

You were in every NDNES that ever existed if I remember correctly. ;)

Also, how bad do you guys think the result of the Satar-Uggor War in N3S III will be? I personally don't trust in my ability to survive, but I'm positive plenty of others are going to fall with me.

*hopes to spark some trash-talking*:mischief:

My men hopefully fought efficiently for the cause.

@NWAG: Haven't you quit NESing several times in the past year?
