Monday Dec 10 through Sunday the 16th I will traveling again. I begin with 3 days in Charlotte NC on business and then 4 days in Baltimore with family. I do not expect to have much time for CFC during that week. Last time I was away my young men in NES and IOT behaved as I expected and there were no problems; I will ask them once again to be on their best behavior. If they aren't, you may have your way with them.

Before moving to NM in 1990, I lived outside of Mebane NC, not far from Chapel Hill, for almost 20 years. I haven't been to Charlotte, though, in a long time. While in college I did go to Indian Trail to spend a weekend with at suite mate and ended up picking cotton (by hand) for half a day on a Saturday. Not fun, except in retrospect. While in Charlotte, I will be meeting with a team of consultants about a real estate development project.

Grew up in Salisbury, NC. Went to UNC-Charlotte and lived on campus from 2001 to 2004. Was a parking valet for a company all over Charlotte while I was at UNCC. Family and friends in Charlotte, Concord, Kannapolis, Salisbury, and Winston.

Has there ever been any sort of NES Awards, like in the Mafia/NOTW subforum? I always wondered if it might be worth having a go at something similar here - NES of the Year, Story of the Year, things like that could be awarded to recognise going above and beyond the call of duty for NESing.

There were, especially awards for mods. I think it collapsed when Abaddon tried to organize one very early in the year IIRC.

Personally, I will give out awards in... just 3 updates wow.
