The annoying thing about this throat-infection-thing is that the act of swallowing in itself hurts, even if I'm just dry swallowing.

But no, it's slowly getting better. I actually ed it up worse myself: this morning I noticed that it only mildly hurt when I swallowed, so I proceeded to do things like eat, talk, sing, etc. Not a good idea in the least.

Edit: My left nostrils has decided it wants to be a young girl experiencing the joy of puberty for the first time. WTH throat, stop getting other body parts in on your shenanigans.

Grandfather required a handful of staples in his scalp after last night, but he's alright, no head trauma at all. In fact, he was none too happy with waiting in the ER for about two and a half hours, and got a turban of bandages around his head, and is all good.

So, that means that I'll get everything done that I need to tonight and be able to start on Mortal Engines NES stuff come Thursday.
