The Yukon would be quite pleasant. :)

Also keep in mind that, during the time of Pangaea, many mountain ranges were still unformed, or did not yet exist.

Here are two reasonable possibilities.

Does anyone have a high-res NES-ish map of Pangaea?

This style could work too:

The reason why it's hell: Siberia. Not frozen, there are no ice caps anyways, but volcanic...super-volcanic. It was erupting pretty much the whole time Pangaea existed. It, combined with potentially a impact somewhere else, another super-volcano also erupting(both were of the giant pool of lava and magma covers large area...and whats left of the Siberian eruption after 250 million years of erosion covers about a 4th-3rd of Russia. think about that), global warming of a already warmer world on steroids, the oceans dying because of lack of oxygen, bacteria becoming dominant in the ocean that spewed extremely potent greenhouse gases( in two ways: very effective at being greenhouse gases and well...the planet smells like a rotten egg), the planet suffered the largest mass extinction ever. It took so long for life to recover that it got hit by another mass extinction pretty the same time they did.

They dont call it the Great Dying for nothing.

Don't worry Daed, I was very careful to pick maps from Triassic Pangaea, rather than Permian Pangaea. No Siberian Traps for us! ;)

Just a reminder. #nesdnd will start in 9 hours or so and will end in 12 hours from this point in time. I currently have 4 players, which is 1 less than the minimum set earlier.

And I have no idea whatsoever how to convert that, so I'm assuming that means you're out.

I'll move start time back 2 hours then. It'll start in 7 and a half hours.

Sorry Angst. :( I guess I can't really have you and Iggy together on a weekday. Iggy, when do you get off work on the Weekends?

I... don't work a job with consistent weekends. I am off this coming weekend (8th and 9th), Thursday the 13th, Tuesday the 18th, and Saturday the 22nd, for the immediate future.
