Isle of Wight festival - was honestly more interested in the arty / environmental things they had going on there. I do care about things.

@Tycho ouch, that sounds painful. I'm reminded recently how much I've got invested in my current laptop. Time to do some backing-up. I don't think you missed anything, then again I am out of touch these days.

Have you played recent versions? I've yet to redownload it since I lost three months of glorious work on a 150-level bloody magma pump to hard drive death, but I am tempted to go mess around with necromancers, their constantly-reanimating minions, and super-sonic minecarts. Would just need to figure out how to aim minecarts towards the zombies, rather than towards my dwarves.

Pfft, I'm a donating player of DF. I can say whatever the hell I want. Boatmurdered is ancient and not particularly relevant to the game as it has been for the past 5 or so years. It is like watching a Let's Play about Donkey Kong (1981) to make a decision about purchasing Super Mario Galaxy.

M14 Limited is okay, like most core set formats. Not nearly as fun a Return to Ravnica Block draft, but the format is pretty slow. Standard is a nightmare. Control is barely viable, because Wizards loves control hosers/powerful creatures and hates blue. The only viable decks at the moment are Jund and various Turn 3-4 win Blitz decks.

O CANADA way too many times in AOM: LAZER BEAR ARMY OF DOOM!

I blame control's troubles on the fact that there is a fair deal of variety in Standard. Although Jund is annoyingly good right now. I hope rotation screws it hard.

I myself, I make stupid decks like Turbofog, Durdle, and Pack Rat I'm no expert, but I play quite a bit.

WOTC spoiled that Theros has a heavy enchantment theme, so hopefully maybe there will be an enchantment-based control deck (I'm not going to say the name because everyone will hate it). Then again, since Wizards and MaRo are in love with Green and the combat step, the creatures will just be so much more powerful.

The enchantments are going to be a bit different in Theros with them tying into the God creatures meaning generic enchantments probably won't be boosted but if you get specific creatures and enchantments out there fun things will happen.
