Who is trump most like?

Carol Vorderman

What do you mean "She's nothing like Donald Trump"?

I dislike them both with a passion. And in my book that makes them practically indistinguishable.

Wow, that is a lot of replies very quickly. I personally think after some research that he is most like the stereotypical renaissance prince with his love of gaudy art, skill at self promotion and ability to pick skilled employees and then take credit for whatever they accomplish. Also his attitude toward business. "I should have the best buildings cause I'm the best and the best buildings are the biggest, but the people who currently have the biggest buildings are more wealthy than I am. I have a perfect solution to this problem, I will borrow as much money as I can so I can have the best buildings, and I will cut as many expenses as possible by using untested methods."

On the CBC website he's occasionally been compared to both Nero and Caligula - insane, can't take the slightest criticism, definitely approves of nepotism (Caligula made his horse a senator!), and apt to change his mind on the slightest whim, depending on who he last spoke to.

Nero fancied himself a performing artist, and Caligula enjoyed performing dances in public and was an avid charioteer. I have no idea if Trump is any good at golf, but it's obvious that he enjoys it and would probably prefer it to most of the stuff he has to do as president.

The U.S. will know it's got serious trouble if Trump ever approves someone putting up a statue to him and making offerings/holding ceremonies next to it.

Too late, that's already happened. You apparently were unfamiliar with Trump tower... the giant building erected with Trump's name on top, where ceremonies and offerings to Trump are regular occurrences. ;)

BTW, while I wish the great legend about Caligula making his horse a Senator was true... it's probably not, sadly.
This was chilling... Those quotes are totally things you can imagine Zapp Branigan saying... they really sound more like Branigan quotes than Trump. I can't tell where Zapp ends and Trump begins :shake:...

If fictional characters are allowed, how about Gilderoy Lockhart?

Obsessed with his own appearance, expert at self-promotion, over-weaning sense of self-importance, eager to claim the credit for other people's accomplishments, and turns nasty when he gets found out.

Anyone got a backfiring wand handy...?

I'm pretty sure that those were 100% Trump.

You should listen to parts 2, 3 and 4. They have Kif in the background after every quote going uuuugh.

I did;), but I like the one @Ajidica posted better.

Yeah they were... but that's my point... the statements were so typical of the kind of stuff Zapp Branigan always says that you can totally imagine them being Branigan quotes rather than Trump ones. :ack:

Jesus.

Look, it's in the hands. And the hair. And the beard if Trump had one.

I tell you, on a dark night from 2 or 3 kms away, you'd be hard pushed to tell them apart.

Assuming neither of them spoke. And even then...

If anything Brannigan is markedly more coherent and sensical than Trump is.

They both believed in crushing their enemies and crushing the resistance and crushing the establishment.
