Who makes a swastika building? i mean really...

Looks like some place in California or Mexico. I've never heard of it before.

Are you sure that's one building?

The problem is from a design standpoint and asthetics the swastika is a cool pattern.

Then stupid Hitler came around and ruined it for everybody.

It's in San Diego, I had no idea that Hitler's ideas would spread to there.

Zoom in all the way and you'll see building arranged in the pattern of a swastika. who disigned this??? Google Map swastika

I think you are being too Politcally Correct. You are being just like the Christians who are against anything that has the geometric form of the pentagram (a five sided star which btw before it attained pagan or satanic connotations actually symbolized truth and was even used by Christians). YOU SHOULD NOT BE AGAINST A GEOMETRICAL SHAPE!!! Being against it or the pentagram shape would be just as silly as being against a circle or against a rectangle or against an octagon or against a mobius strip!!! :) Do NOT let the extremists (Nazis with their swastika, pagans or satanists with their use of the pentagram, or radical homosexuals with their rainbows or whatever) stop you from enjoying and using these features of the world, real or abstract. I mean come on! Do we stop using and even admiring pyramid shaped objects just because there were some pyramid shaped objects built a long time ago on the backs of poor slaves that were treated harshly and brutally? No of course not! ESPECIALLY when it comes to GEOMETRIC SHAPES, we should not let other people control us. You are talking about MATHEMATICS here, mathematical BEAUTY (read about golden ratio and stuff like that ... also music is based on math too) .... for all I know there are some people in the world today who are against CIRCLES because the circle is part of the imperial Japanese flag when Japan did Nazi-like stuff. :crazyeye:

My point is that we shouldn't LET Hitler or anyone else ruin ANYTHING for ANYONE ... whether it's a swastika, rainbow, pentagram, circle, or the color pink or the color red or whatever.

Whhhooooppsss .

WHAT?? So what if he overreacts? I know that the swastika brings back negative images, he is a human and has every right to be appalled.

I question the sentence in bold.

I don't see anything wrong with using a swastika design. Afterall, it has more than 1 meaning associated with it. One of the meaning is actually 'good luck' and 'love' or something positive like that.
Why are people so easily offended? We have to learn to accept different ideas, even if they are offensive, because even ideas that sound offensive today might have positive future implications.

We shouldn't be allowed to make crosses anywhere, either, because the Nazis used them as medals.

It was design by someone that's still laughing about how his little joke is rilling up people. ;)

Where is it?

Click on the link and then click on the Map button instead of Sattelite and zoom in and out as necessary. It's in San Diego.

Its on the United States Naval Amphibious Base, the best on Google I found were some forum threads like this one where people say they are barracks.

No way they couldn't have realised it, so they must have decided it wouldn't matter that much since it is only noticable from the air.

Swatstikas aren't a bad thing at all. They're a religious symbol in Buddhism and have been used in many different cultures over the years.
