I think it is over. Hillary's national lead is collapsing and Obama is opening up double digit leads in NH. Hillary's support was always weak I think. With two of her 3 major arguments burst (electibility and inevitibilty) she will crumble. I don;t see how she effectively goes negative on Obama w/o looking desperate and thus unbelievable. Obama will take NH and I don;t see how Hillary comes back from that. Nevada? maybe but it wouldn;t change the dynamic. South Carolina? no way. I suspect by Feb 5th Obama will be at least 5 points ahead in the National polls. Vote now for the record. Not who you want to win but who you think will win.

At this point, if I were Matt Drudge, I'd be posting from a hidden bunker. This could be the second time he's stuck it to her in a really big major way.

Edit: and for the record, I think Obama takes it all.

South Carolina? Obama? Srsly?

(I haven't looked at polls, I'm just thinking of prejudice.)

the predujucied voters arent voting in the democratic primary there.

Half of SC dem voters are black.

While Iowa and New Hampshire are kind of unique in allowing independents and crossovers more influence than the typical state, I think Obama will likely have achieved the needed momentum coming out of NH. I didn't think there was enough of the Anyone But Hillary vote for Obama and Edwards to share while allowing one to open up a decent lead and the other to stay somewhat viable, but it now appears to be the case. I thought Obama's path to victory was for Edwards to get blown out in Iowa, thus making it a dual beteen Clinton and Edwards (with Clinton having the edge, but Obama having a chance). Maybe Hillary starts doing well in some closed primary states to change the dynamics of the race again and slow Obamarama down, but I would be suprised if that happens.

I heard black voters were skeptical about him because "white voters don't vote for black candidates". If he wins NH they might change their minds. On the other side, women who most likely would've support Clinton seem to vote for Obama...
To use a french maxim: "Les carottes sont cuites"
In English : "Carrots are cooked"
In latin : "Alea jacta est" ;-)

Barack Obamania!

ack! I'm the only Hillary vote so far... people love comebacks.

CFC is biased. Everyone knows Ron Paul will win, despite not being a Democrat.

Obama has the momentum but on February 5th, I'm voting Richardson and writing in Paul because he rules our universe.

This is just people voting for who they want to win.

That explains every presidential thread on the forum with the exception of the common sense crew.
