back in the mists of time these Klan dudes get fed up with creeping improvement in the Rights of Blacks' . So , they wanted to invade some country . The new generations brainwashed by Marvel garbage will immediately say this is Wakanda . But alas by the time the name was known America had already got into trouble with jungles and guerillas in some country in the Far East . So instead the world got Heston showing them apes the true power of the American man , like naturally of the White kind . One that "speaks" , one that convinces apes to become men and so on . Woke stuff has also changed that story and gorillas indeed fight for everyone , right ?

depends on what one means by "dragon". probably possible as long as you have the word "komodo" first, though also less interesting.

as a dominions 5 player, i am well aware of monkey nations. there are 4 in total, 2 in early age, 1 each in middle and late. they do have gorilla troops as well, and those are not undisciplined, so can be used for tactics. i would not rate this as a likely reason they would be difficult to invade, however.
