Weep, Mother.
I kinda have to agree with Symphony. Right now- as a subtopic- we get a steady trickle of players- some good, some bad, and some just plain out lunatics. If you move the forum, you'd be (sort of) opening the floodgates. Yes, we'd have alot more players. Yes, a few of them might know what they're doing. And yes, there would be a whole lot more to go off- there would probably be a full roster for many of the NESes.
But then again, you'd have to deal with that. How much can a mod truly take on? Doping an update for fifteen to twenty people is already bad, can you imagine the headache when they jump up to thirty? It already (should) take(s) a good couple of days (if not a week) to get an update finished, imagine how big they would be when you have to write for all those orders.
Also, imagine all the fighting that would go on- its a natural occurance that people do not always play nice with each other. With a bigger pop base, you have a multiplied rate of occurances, and much more banning- thus increasing to hinder the mods. Not only that, but you'd have to factor in the wya some of the people choose to behave- I hate to say it, but look at some of the newer people. They post without checking previous claims (attempting to claim a nation that's not only out of their league, but also already claimed by a much more experienced player.), they start up NESes on a whim and without putting much work behind them (yes, I know t=my pathetic excuse died without a true update, but I at least put three weeks into it), and they constantly annoy me
(Just picking). You have to understand, by increasing our numbers, you also increase the numbers of headaches.
I understand that for every bad five that come, you might get a decent person. Someone willing to put forth the effort to play this game, and not somebody who merely wings every last thing. The thing I find most annoying about people is that they refuse to do even the slightest bit of research- and I hope that nobody considerers Wiki "research". Its nice for a glance, but you need a better source.
The way I see it, our best option would be to leave it as it is. We have a good number of players who know what they're doing, and I'm happy with it.
And yes, I know I do everything I said annoys me.
