I bet that Adam Lanza kid was a democrat. He couldn't live without his mommy.

No offense to present company of course. I'm sure some day you will all grow up, and when you are older, you will see the error of your ways. Young people tend to be liberal and socialist. I was a socialist in high school. I think it's pretty common.

A pull at the heartstrings has a far greater effect then painstakingly going through the evidence, points of view and coming to your own conclusion. It's why i'm so woefully understocked on hard opinions on anything. I'm not Traitorfish, who, seemingly, reads mountains of books and actually knows quite a lot about what he discusses. I also lack the heart to be drawn into the left propaganda

When you discuss relative poverty, simply hack away the "relative" part and people start imagining a Dickensian scenario - pretend it's widespread "millions suffer from poverty" (when it's like 60% of median household income) -- boom you've made yourself some propaganda soup. In reality, they've got Xbox 360s and flash tellys!

I'm just asking. The proportion of leftists here compared to other forums I've been on is quite high.

Most people who post here are pretty smart (I'm the only exception- I'm pretty dumb), and they are a product of the school and University system. Both schools and Universities are very left leaning. This really shouldn't be any surprise they are left leaning.

Most conservatives are rednecks who like to drink beer and ride around in pickup trucks. They aren't going to post here.
