To clarify, the Druid class (who are shapeshifters) get a free flying mount, in the guise of a crow shapeshifting form, at lvl 68, which is the equivalent of everyone else's normal flying mount. The normal flying mount is slower than the Epic flying mount, which costs 5,000 Gold to purchase.
Druids do not get their epic flying form for free. They do get it via a quest, but they must first spend 5,000 Gold in order to begin the quest.
Blizzard should put a quest in the game such as "Go see a Blizzard executive and get him or her to sleep with you. Reward: 5,000 gold."
Yeah but would you really want fifty of these stalking you?
