Something with a purple cape, white clothes and black flowing hair. I cannot find any pic since i am not familiar with this kind of search. Just a generic Byzantine noble would do

If you want (and if you can/feel like it) you could even make a pulsar around his head, it should make the unit more unique

As for flags, there are some simpler emblems of the Byzantine empire, such as the bicephal eagle:

I cant make a flag. Because I dont have the prop. And the if I had the prop, it could only be like the flag above. I dont think I can make it like original army units, where the colors go up or down depending on how many units are in the queue.

For the unit I was thinking about something like Basil the 2nd

shiro, go go to BROKEN CRESCENT a mod for medieval total war 2 and there you will have generals, soldiers, and flags and other stuff as inspiration. just serch on the web for broken crescent...and there are many other mods and other stuff....i am awaiting your creation eagerly.

Unfortunately, other fan-made games aren't exactly perfectly acurate representations. They take some small liberties, and then Shiro takes some small liberties, and suddenly it's a very innacurate unit.

To my knowledge those two are real flags, the first from before 1204, the latter of the Palaiologoi dynasty.

But Shiro already said he cannot make the flag anyway.
