Worker Flavour Units

You just keep pumping these out, Chuggi! Any chance you could upload a few of those missionaries/GP you did?

I'll probably upload those all in one go (they're not quite finished yet).

Calm down, Chugginator. It's still 20-or-so days before BtS comes out and we can include them in it. ;)

Will BtS be easier to mod or something?

Firaxis stated that more of the graphics engine would be opened for modding, and their inclusion of ethnic units in the expansion indicates they must have made it easier to put new graphics in without much (if any) extra xml'ing.

Yes but I'm hoping I can take a break then so I can play the game for a couple of weeks! So for now I'll try and get some useful stuff finished.

Great work Chuggi. Keep the Flavor coming. :p

:cringe:

Does anyone have any ideas of how I could make a Medieval Caucasian worker? I was thinking of the Germanic one I made but maybe dark blue clothes, and shorter hair/no beard. Maybe a hat?

Hmmm…. Not good with colors…

I would stick to “moldy” or “worn” colors, it being a poor peasant and all…
-Overcoat (or is that a tunic?)- Either a dark blue, brown, or green.
-Leggings and undershirt if showing- Probably a dirty white.
-Hat- I guess it would be leather so brown.
And a permanent grimace on his face.

I hope that helps...

Edit: I didn't see GeoModder's post, just think boring, it is the middle ages and he is a peasant.

gray/brownish. That was the usual colorscheme of the peasants in that age I think.

It would look too much like the ancient Germanic worker if I made it brown.. hmm maybe I should make it more renaissance based (were they more colourful?) I was thinking a dark faded green anyway.

Sounds good!

I made this using various units from civ (longbowman head, peltast hat etc.) and then quickly textured it. Anything need changing before I rig it?
