Worker Flavour Units

You could set up workers like settlers. Have 2 males, 1 female, and then a child worker in each group. That would look pretty cool I bet. Of course this simply represents the building of the improvement and not the working of the plot.

I don't think it would work properly because the animations for the worker are made for one or two workers (i.e they move across before they start building a road). If there were four workers it might not look right, but interesting idea..

I just meant that with lots of workers it could look odd - because when you give them an order to build something, they sort of run past each other into their positions.

Yeah, it would look cool if there were peasants working the tiles after a farm (or any improvement) was built, but the actual construction animations might get cluttered.

Hmm this could be done by adding the worker model to the actual improvement nif file. But the animations would be tricky to get working, if I tried I would probably end up with the workers standing on top of the improvement in their "Vitruvian Man" stance.

I want to make start making some modern flavour workers because I don't think BtS will feature these. However, I can't find any decent pictures.. so can someone help me find some pics of any african/asian modern workers? Thanks!

fall from heaven has religion specific improvement graphics. im pretty sure that that could be applied to civilizations.

Yeah I tried searching for "asian worker" and "asian modern worker" but didn't get anything good. Need better search terms.
