Would you betray a family member to for $25000000 even if he would be killed?

Would you do what I asked about?

I can be bought for far less than $25 million, so yes, yes I would!

No I would not, I don't think I'd be able to have that on my conscience

I would turn in my parents, even if I knew they were innocent. :)

j/k :D

Seriously, I'll rat out any murdering bastard, no matter what relation. I sure as hell, don't want to be close to any murderers, because the next victim could be me.

If they were mass-murderering scum, then I would definetaly turn them in for that sum of money.

It depends on the family member (some of my cousins, aunts, and uncles are real *******s) and who was offering the money. If its the USA or the state of Texas offering me the money, perhaps, but if its Al Qaeda, probably not.

Saddam was betrayed by a family member to the tune of 25 mil.

You bet I would turn him/her in! That's a sh!tload of money!
Besides, as stated before, someone wanted for that amount of ca$h is surely a bad bad BAD person.

I would turn in a family member to a respected and fair justice institution. The US military forces, or the Iraqi (interim) government do not qualify.

Saddam could hardly be considered the "warm and thoughtful" family member. I'd even betray him for 24,000,000 ;)

Family is family. I wouldn't rat them out (although 25mil looks rather inviting). When all else goes to hell, you should be able to count on your family to get you through.

Now my boss on the other hand... :D

This is an interesting question if we turn it on its head first. Would you sacrifice your own life if that meant your family (or a member of) could get $25,000,000? Would I wish to die right now if that would cause my wife and son fabulous wealth? I think I might. I think I might just urge my wife to "betray" me, on those conditions.

If the money offered was in fact seized assets of my own family, I'd be more sure yet what to do.

What do you mean, like for illegally occupying a foreign country, funneling its assets into your personal bank account Moderator Action: warned trolling
Please read the forum rules: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=422889and killing innocent people in the name of security? Well, I don't think George Sr. really needs the money.

In case of Saddam Hussein I would, even though I'm against death penalty. Just not so fundamentally.

For twenty-five million dollars I'd have betrayed Jesus...

Hell, I'd have done it for $10,000 :p

God no if it's my mother, father, or sister. (Or my two "kids" my Basset Hounds) I love thm so much, no amount fo money would convince me to let them die.

If you are talking about my insane grandmothers or cousins, then I'm not as certain. I rarely talk to them, so why does it matter if they die? I don't love them just because we are blood-related. I would still feel awful to have the moral dilemma hanging over my head though.
